The first thing you need to do is to set up a Payment Processor. A payment processor is a way for you to send money electronically using the Internet. Almost all opportunities you will get involved in will require that you have an account with either AlertPay or SolidTrust Pay.

At some point you are going to want to have an account with both AlertPay and SolidTrust Pay; but when you are just getting started it is good enough to just create an account with AlertPay. Note that you should set up a "Personal Pro" account with AlertPay.
